Sterling Silver Love Spoon Necklace
Handmade in Wales.
The giving and receiving of lovespoons between lovers, friends and family is a mainly Welsh custom that dates back to the 17th century. Young men over the centuries lovingly carved a love spoon from one piece of wood using symbols of love such as hearts, celtic knotwork, bells and horseshoes to create a beautiful and lasting gift
This pendant is about 35mm long and has been given an oxidised/antique black finish.
Standard Chain is an 18" long curb chain - or choose a different length on your order by adding a note.
Packaged in a gift-box with a little gift-tag attached.
