A Geometric Heart - This design is a subtle, modern take on the heart symbol, similar to the flight of an arrow or dart - maybe Cupid's?
 
Materials:
Sterling Silver, in a soft polished finish.
 
Dimensions:
Heart is approx. 23mm x 12mm.
Bangle is made from 2mm thick solid silver & the width can be chosen when ordering. If you are unsure & it's a gift, 65mm is a small & 68mm is a medium size.
 
How it's Made:
After making paper hearts with children & seeing how we could make a 3D shape by slotting together 2 flat pieces, we decided to try the same in silver. The original design was hand fabricated from sawn sheet silver slotted & soldered together. Repeats of the design are made using the ancient art of lost-wax casting (this bit is completed by casting experts in London). Back here in the workshop the heart castings are tidied up & attached to a handmade bangle.
