Poppy Brooch Pin.
 
This pin is cast from a tiny wild poppy seedpod using the lost-wax casting process. Every delicate detail is captured in the metal.
 
The surface is a soft mix of matt & polish to highlight the textures.
 
With a simple silver push-on stopper, this pin can be fastened as a brooch or hat-pin. The stem is 1.2mm wide so would mark delicate fabrics and is more suited to loosely woven fabric or on clothing that you don't mind a small hole in.
