The Daffodil is Rock Rose's original jewellery design, created back in 2008 as a gift for her Welsh mother, with Daffodils being a Welsh emblem. Many happy stories & sentiments have been shared since then, about this happy little flower, that brings joy to many.
Daffodils also symbolise new beginnings and are the birth flower for March.

Chain length can be chosen on ordering. If you are unsure & it's a gift - 14-16" is a good length for a child and 18" is a small-medium length for an adult.
How it's Made:
The original Daffodil was handmade with silver clay, in the actual size it is now. The clay is left to dry & then fired to a solid silver state. Repeats are made of this design using the ancient art of lost-wax casting (this part takes place in London by expert casters). When the casting is returned to my workshop in Pembrokeshire, it's tidied up & fittings are soldered on securely.
